Senior Data Engineer in Avenga

Avenga is looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our team. Our customer is the leading data company that helps to create a responsible marketing enviroment by enabling transparent, content-level targeting and measurement across the walled garden platforms.
As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for leveraging the Snowflake cloud data platform and Google BigQuery to design, develop, analyze large datasets, and manage data solutions.

What you bring along:

• 8+ years of experience working with large datasets;
• Knowledge of DWH and data lake design and development;
• Expertise in Snowflake;
• Production experiences using DBT and Airflow;
• Good at documenting issues, and working towards timely resolutions;
• Experience in established incident management processes;
• Proficient in Python and SQL;
• Ability to handle PagerDuty responsibilities;
• English — Upper-Intermediate or higher.

Nice to have:

• Familiar with BigQuery or Ads Data Hub (ADH);
• Bachelor’s degree in Technology.

This is your mission:

• Write and optimize SQL queries;
• Design, develop, analyze large datasets, and manage data solutions;
• Extracting data from various sources, such as files, databases, or streaming platforms, and loading it into Database tables;
• Leverage analytical capabilities to perform data analysis and generate insights;
• Perform data transformations or enrichments such as DBT to develop and maintain data transformation pipelines and analytics models;
• Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, optimizing data partitioning and clustering strategies;
• Collaborate with data engineers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to understand their requirements, provide data solutions, and effectively communicate insights or findings derived from Data.
