We seek Senior Data Architect for our customer, a global leader in flavors and fragrances, operating in over 180 locations worldwide. Since 1895, it has created innovative and sustainable solutions for the food, beverage, beauty, personal care, and home care industries. This position requires once in a while business travel.

If you possess...

• Professional experience: 8 + years of experience as data architect or similar role the modern data landscape with good knowledge of one of the cloud data ecosystems (Azure strongly preferred)
• Collaborating with stakeholders: Conducting requirement analysis, prioritizing features, aligning data architecture with business objectives.
• Data Architecture Design: Skill in designing scalable and robust data architectures that support current and future business needs.
• Data Warehousing: Understanding of data warehousing principles and experience in designing data warehouses that facilitate efficient data analysis and reporting. Designing data architecture for analysis with BI tools.
• Data Governance: Ability to implement data governance practices to ensure data quality, security, MDM and compliance with regulations.
• Data Modeling: Proficiency in creating conceptual, logical, and physical data models that align with business requirements and support efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Hands-on experience in developing ETL/ELT processes and tools (Databriks) to integrate data from various sources into a unified system.
• Data Security: Knowledge of data security best practices and principles to ensure data integrity and protect against unauthorized access.
• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements, explain technical concepts, and justify design decisions.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex data-related challenges and optimize data architecture.
• Tech stack: Proficiency in programming languages used for data manipulation and analysis, such as Python, SQL. Experience with Azure ecosystems and Databriks
