We are International Showtimes; a global entertainment data aggregator from Berlin, Germany. We operate in 120 + markets worldwide and serve clients across the globe. Our automated algorithm connects to 25k+ entertainment websites, to aggregate rich and high-quality data. The International Showtimes team consists of 21+ smart, motivated, and friendly people. We work remotely with team members across the globe. Now we are looking for you to support us with our next growth phase in 2024.

Your Profile

You're offering these qualifications:

• You have at least 1-2 years of experience with TypeScript.
• You have strong and proven experience in web scraping including advanced techniques for bypassing CAPTCHA, Cloudflare, Akamai, and other sophisticated security measures.
• You are familiar with some of the following technologies and libraries: regular expressions, CSS, HTML, jQuery, cheerio.js, JSON parsing/format, moment.js, Node.js, and underscore.
• You understand the concepts of working with Promises, async/await, callbacks and in general with asynchronous programming.
• You are familiar with working with Postgres, MongoDB and Redis.
• You know how to work with git.
• You have a good command of English.
• You are friendly and open-minded.
• You are not fearing problems, you rather like to solve them with your unique approach.
• You are professional and reliable.
