As part of the Strategy practice and Agreements, the Transaction Diligence team provides services to clients including investment funds, multinational and national corporations, as well as international financial organizations in the process of mergers and acquisitions (M&A). 

Although financial due diligence is a central element of the value proposition of the Deal Support team, team representatives are also involved in evaluating the business plans of potential objects for investment, analytical support in the process of assessing the attractiveness of potential investments, negotiations and preparation of documentation for closing M&A deals.

 Responsibilities

• Performing complex financial examination procedures (due diligence) and analyzing the operational results of potential investment objects by analyzing accounting records, key contracts, management reporting.
• Maintaining productive communication with by the staff of the investment object to collect data necessary for analysis.
• Preparation of reports on the analysis of potential investment objects for clients in Ukrainian and English.
• Development of recommendations on key financial and business issues regarding a potential investment object.
• Managing a team of junior analysts in the process conducting complex financial examinations of potential objects for investment

 Requirements

• Higher education in finance/economics/taxes
• ACCA or SRA certification (completed or in the final stage) will be an advantage
• 3+ years of relevant experience (audit, financial analysis, due diligence).Experience in Big4 will be an advantage
• Good analytical skills
• Fluency in Ukrainian and English
• Good communication skills skills including analytical writing
• Proficient user of MS Word, Excel, Power Point (knowledge of Alteryx and PowerBI would be an advantage)
• Understanding corporate financial reporting/financial analysis/principles of corporate finance.
