Senior Cloud Data Engineer @ Devire in Devire

Currently, for our client - a Polish software house cooperating with companies from all over the world, we are looking for a person for the position of Senior Cloud Data Engineer.

Expectations

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT, including at least 3.5 years in working with data in the cloud, supported by the implementation of commercial projects implemented in production. 
• Advanced knowledge of SQL, used in MS and other technological solutions. 
• Proficient knowledge of Git and CI/CD methodologies. 
• Ability to create and optimize data processing solutions (ETL, ELT, etc.), preceded by technical design and evaluation of alternative solutions. 
• Knowledge of Delta Lake and Data Lakehouse concepts. 
• Understanding the SMP and MPP architecture along with examples of solutions based on these architectures. 
• Knowledge of migrating on-premise solutions to the cloud and knowledge of basic types of migration. 
• Knowledge of mechanisms for secure storage and processing of data in the cloud. 
• Excellent knowledge of data storage and processing services offered by the Azure cloud provider. 
• Experience in direct cooperation with the client. 
• Knowledge of English at an intermediate level (minimum B2).
