Under the management of the Project Manager and Area Coordinator, Senior Project Officer, based in Kharkiv office is responsible for leading cash project activities in East Area, including arranging meetings with stakeholders, presentation of cash activities, communication at local level, planning, analyzing, and reporting required by cash projects implementation according to deadlines.

Functions

  • Participate in the identification and verification process for beneficiary selection under the direction of the Project Manager in East Area.
  • Act as the focal point in East Area for partners and authorities at local level
  • Participate in the CWG meetings related to coordination efforts in East Area
  • Under the coordination of the Project Manager, AC engage with local communities and other stakeholders to ensure the beneficiaries are accounted for and engaging to the programming process
  • Lead on developing CASH projects and team workplans and follow-up with Project Assistants
  • < li>Day to day management of CASH team in East Area with priority of tasks and planning field trips according to security procedures. 
  • Lead on organizing outreach events and relations with local authorities in East Area. 
  • Under the Project Manager, participate in the analysis of data for the preparation of project's reports.
  • Working with MEAL team and Emergency Coordinator in East Area, oversee beneficiary selection process and update the methodology related to cash activities implementation
  • Participate in developing and making changes in approach related to cash activities implementation in the context of Ukraine
  • Act as the focal point for finance service providers, adhere to the deadlines and tracking the reports related to cash tranches
  • Staff performance management in East Area
  • Carry out other duties as requested by the Project Manager, Area Coordinator and CASH Project Coordinator in East Area .
  • Organization of sessions related to cash activities such as lessons learned and providing the findings to PM, AC, PCP

Experience and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration / Economics / similar field or relevant practical experience.
  • Good knowledge in the use of computer and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Commitment to high quality adaptive and accountable humanitarian programming
  • Fluent in Ukrainian and upper-intermediate level in English

Preferred requirements:

  • Prior experience in Cash programs
  • Experience in the use of database packages (e.g. Access, KOBO tool)
  • Experience in MS PowerBi interactive dashboards and reports
