Senior C++ Developer (with Video experience) in Luxoft

Project Description:

Porting and enhancing the most popular video streaming application worldwide.

Responsibilities:

• Develop code following the process and coding standards of Chromium project
• Optimize code for performance and footprint, considering advantages of h/w platform
• Develop unit tests to verify the correct functionality against the requirements
• Execute static analysis tools and analyze the results
• Participate in code review
• Document the code

Mandatory Skills Description:

- Excellent C++ programming skills, 5+ years of experience
- Good software design, problem solving, and debugging skills
- Good knowledge of software design patterns and coding best practices
- Experience of code review
- Graphics programming

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

- Experience with Chromium based applications
- Knowledge in video compression standards, such VP9, AV1, HEVC, VVC
- Knowledge in video and image coding principles, algorithms, and techniques
- Experience with GPU/CPU Accelerations
- Parallel computing (Compute shaders, OpenCL, Cuda)
- Media technologies expertise (HDR/SDR, Video Streaming, DirectShow)
