Senior C# Desktop Engineer in ArtPix 3D

We are looking for a Senior C# Desktop Engineer to build and maintain the software that runs our production floor.

You will work on a custom-built in-house ERP system, designed specifically for our manufacturing processes.

Our backend is written in PHP and exposed via REST APIs.
Your responsibility is the C# desktop (WPF) applications that power:

• Engraving machines (via native DLLs and hardware SDKs)
• Quality Control stations
• Packing and shipping stations

This role directly impacts production speed, stability, and scalability. Your work will be used daily by production operators and must remain stable, responsive, and reliable in real-world manufacturing conditions. This is not a backend role. This is a production execution role, where software reliability directly impacts manufacturing throughput.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of programming experience in C#.
• 5+ practical experience with WPF.
• Experience integrating with native DLLs, hardware SDKs, or external devices
• Hardware (serial port).
• HTTP basic knowledge (usage REST API).
• Experience MySQL (writing and query analysis, understanding database design).
• Experience and knowledge of the principles of development and implementation of manufacturing ERP and other systems.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Git.
• Upper-intermediate.

What you will work on

• Develop and maintain C# WPF desktop applications used daily by machine operators and production staff
• Integrate with native DLLs and machine SDKs to control engraving hardware
• Consume REST APIs from a PHP backend (orders, QC, packing, status updates)
• Build operator-first UI optimized for high-throughput production environments
• Ensure applications run fast, stable, and unattended (24/7) on the shop floor
• Design systems resilient to:— Network issues
  — API downtime
  — Machine or DLL failures
  — Operator errors
• Improve performance, memory usage, and long-term stability of production applications
• Add logging, diagnostics, and recovery mechanisms for real-world manufacturing scenarios
• Collaborate closely with backend, production, and operations teams

You will be involved in the development of a custom ERP system. A custom ERP system is designed to comprehensively manage all aspects of our production process — from ordering raw materials to shipping finished products to customers. The system includes modules for managing inventory, sales, logistics, production, and finance.
