Job Summary: Weare seeking askilled Business Analyst with astrong technical background tojoin our virtual and hybrid Scrum Team. This BAwill work alongside anotherBA who possesses deep industry knowledge. The primary responsibility ofthisBA istoensure that user stories and backlog items are well-understood, including both existing product and technical perspectives. Your contributions will bepivotal indelivering high-quality products ontime and within scope, bridging the geographical gap and promoting effective collaboration. Key Responsibilities: 1. Technical Understanding: Collaborate closely with the Head ofDevelopment &Architecture togain adeep understanding ofproduct functions and technical aspects, considering the unique challenges ofavirtual and hybrid team. Ensure user stories are actionable, and backlog items contain sufficient technical information tobeactionable for the development team. 2. Backlog Refinement: Work with the Product Manager, Product Owner, Scrum Master, the industry-focused BA, and the Head ofDevelopment toestimate, refine, and prioritize the product backlog, recognizing the diverse perspectives ofacross-border team. Ensure that backlog items have well-defined acceptance criteria and minimal ambiguity, minimizing the need for the Scrum Team tospend time onfeature clarification. 3. Cross-functional Collaboration: Act asabridge between the technical team and business stakeholders across borders, facilitating effective communication and alignment. Collaborate closely with the industry-focused BA, Product Owner, and the Head ofDevelopment toensure that user stories are not only technically feasible but also aligned with business goals inaglobal context. 4. Documentation and Traceability: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, technical specifications, and process flows, emphasizing clarity for remote team members. Ensure that all technical requirements are well-documented, traceable, and up-to-date throughout the development cycle. 5. Quality Assurance: Collaborate with Quality Assurance teams across locations todefine technical test cases and ensure that acceptance criteria are met, maintaining aglobal perspective. Assist inthe identification and resolution oftechnical issues and discrepancies, addressing challenges inherent invirtual collaboration. 6. Continuous Improvement: Actively participate insprint retrospectives and contribute toprocess improvements, particularly inareas related totechnical clarity and understanding inadistributed team environment. Qualifications: Proven experience (5+years) asaBusiness Analyst with astrong technical focus inanAgile/Scrum environment, including experience invirtual and hybrid team settings. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially inatechnical context. Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, emphasizing effective communication inacross-border context. Proficiency inAzure DevOps orsimilar Agile tools. Proficiency inEnglish, both verbal and written, tofacilitate communication across international team members. Ability towork collaboratively within cross-functional teams, adapting tothe challenges ofvirtual collaboration.
