Job Summary

The Senior Business Analyst — Credit Front Office Product team will work on Product Roadmap for Allvue’s flagship credit SaaS offering utilized by some of the largest and most prestigious CLO managers, credit funds and fixed income asset managers globally.

The objective of this role is to design, develop, deliver and launch solutions that have an outsized impact on client and business return on investment.

This is expected to be achieved by taking a business analyst role on a scrum team and working with Developers, Business Analysts, Design Team, QA, Infrastructure and Product Managers to define scope, draft user stories/acceptance criteria, and deliver product documentation and training.

Requirements

• Familiarity with the investment lifecycle process for a loan from the inception of the process, analysis, approval, trading (on either the primary or secondary market) and the post close monitoring process.
• 2+ years relevant business analysis experience at SaaS or Tech company, preferably in product
• Knowledge of flat file and API integrations
• Agile development experience
• Knowledge of industry concepts and how they apply to Allvue solutions
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and its related processes through to the release
• Demonstrated ability to gather requirements and collaborate with engineering teams to design solutions
• Experience writing user story stories and acceptance criteria
• Strong knowledge of Roadmap and Backlog Management

Preferred

• Plus -.NET application knowledge
• Investment industry qualifications, eg. CFA

Responsibilities

• Develop and provide subject matter expertise on the business processes and functionalities supported by Allvue’s software solutions
• Supporting client facing teams with product queries
• Demo and document functionality
• Collaborate with clients and internal team members / stakeholders on product feedback to improve features
• Collaborate with Product Owner to execute on Program Increments (PIs)
• Requirements and refinement of epics
• Complete epic readiness process for prioritized epics in each PI, including development and design reviews
• Collaborate with Platform team to execute on features across the product lifecycle including: Scrum ceremonies; Defining requirements including writing user stories, acceptance criteria and working with engineering team on refinement; Triage and refinement of feature and defect product requests
• Contribute to ideas for new product development
• Continue professional and technical education, attending conferences, workshops, seminars, etc

Higher education / Degree or relevant technical certifications (preferred)
