1. Technical Understanding:
Collaborate closely with the Head of Development & Architecture to gain a deep understanding of product functions and technical aspects, considering the unique challenges of a virtual and hybrid team.
Ensure user stories are actionable, and backlog items contain sufficient technical information to be actionable for the development team.
2. Backlog Refinement:
Work with the Product Manager, Product Owner, Scrum Master, the industry-focused BA, and the Head of Development to estimate, refine, and prioritize the product backlog, recognizing the diverse perspectives of a cross-border team.
Ensure that backlog items have well-defined acceptance criteria and minimal ambiguity, minimizing the need for the Scrum Team to spend time on feature clarification.
3. Cross-functional Collaboration:
Act as a bridge between the technical team and business stakeholders across borders, facilitating effective communication and alignment.
Collaborate closely with the industry-focused BA, Product Owner, and the Head of Development to ensure that user stories are not only technically feasible but also aligned with business goals in a global context.
4. Documentation and Traceability:
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, technical specifications, and process flows, emphasizing clarity for remote team members.
Ensure that all technical requirements are well-documented, traceable, and up-to-date throughout the development cycle.
5. Quality Assurance:
Collaborate with Quality Assurance teams across locations to define technical test cases and ensure that acceptance criteria are met, maintaining a global perspective.
Assist in the identification and resolution of technical issues and discrepancies, addressing challenges inherent in virtual collaboration.
6. Continuous Improvement:
Actively participate in sprint retrospectives and contribute to process improvements, particularly in areas related to technical clarity and understanding in a distributed team environment. Qualifications:
Proven experience (5+ years) as a Business Analyst with a strong technical focus in an Agile/Scrum environment, including experience in virtual and hybrid team settings.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in a technical context.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, emphasizing effective communication in a cross-border context.
Proficiency in Azure DevOps or similar Agile tools.
Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, to facilitate communication across international team members.
Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams, adapting to the challenges of virtual collaboration.

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with a strong technical background to join our virtual and hybrid Scrum Team.
