Senior Brand Manager
Main duties and responsibilities:
Responsibility for strategic development and operational management of the brand in order to ensure sustainable growth in sales, market share and profitability. The role involves leadership in forming a long-term brand vision, creating a differentiated positioning, effective management of resources and a team.
- Strategic brand development:
- Formation of a long-term brand strategy and a roadmap for its implementation.
- Definition and construction of brand architecture, value proposition and positioning of the brand in accordance with the corporate strategy.
- Development of a portfolio strategy: a balance between the main, innovative and supporting SKUs.
- Conducting a strategic analysis of the category, consumers, competitors, price trends, insights.
- Development and management of the brand:
- Building brand capital (brand equity), control of its dynamics through KPI: knowledge, purchase consideration, loyalty
- Brand life cycle management, participation in new product development (NPD), rebranding, restyling, redesign of packaging.
- Innovative project management: initiation, briefing, execution control, post-launch evaluation.
- Ensuring consistency of tone of voice and visual identity of the brand at all points of contact.
- Communications and media:
- Participation in the creation of communication strategies and 360° campaigns (ATL, BTL, digital, PR, events).
- Development and adaptation of creative concepts, media briefs and content plans.
- Management of agencies (creative, media, PR, digital): task setting, quality control, effectiveness.
- Analysis of the effectiveness of marketing activities (ROI, media performance).
- Financial management
- Planning, monitoring and control of the marketing budget, ensuring return on investment (ROMI) related departments (sales, finance, production, trade marketing).
- Interaction with top management:
- Preparation andconducting brand portfolio presentations for top management, external partners, distributors.
- Participation in annual business planning, forecasting sales volumes and determining strategic priorities.
General requirements:
- Educationa: Higher (bachelor, master's degree)
- Work experience: 6-8+ years of experience in FMCG / category marketing, of which at least 2-3 years in the position of Brand Manager / Senior Brand Manager.
- Experience in managing the full cycle of a brand — from strategy development to implementation of communications and analysis of results.
- Practical experience in launching new products, working with insights, brand architecture, P&L management.
- Successful experience of cooperation with creative, media and digital agencies.
- Experience of leading a team or mentoring junior specialists.
- Experience of working with data (Nielsen / GfK / Kantar) is desirable.
Professional skills:
- Strategic thinking, systematic and analytical.
- Brand ownership building framework (pyramid brand, key brand, etc.).
- Consumer analytics and segmentation
- Comprehensive communication planning (360°)
- Knowledge of modern digital marketing tools and their integration into the overall communication strategy.
- Ability to work with P&L, form budgets, argue business cases.
- Strong presentation skills, the ability to communicate convincingly at the top management level.
