Position Overview:

We seek a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer with a robust understanding and hands-on experience in smart contract development. Our flexible work environment offers PART-TIME (50%) or consultancy opportunities for professionals looking to contribute to our projects.

REQUIREMENTS

We're looking for Senior Backend Developer who has:

Experience:

Proven experience as a Backend Developer, preferably within the FinTech sector;

Strong proficiency in one or more backend languages: Java, Python, or Node.js.

Domain Knowledge: 

Strong understanding of cryptocurrency, stablecoins, and related financial technologies;

Extensive practical experience in developing, deploying, and managing smart contracts;

Familiarity with blockchain platforms such as Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, or similar.

Technical Skills: 

Proven ability to work on technical projects, with a solid grasp of API analysis and solution design;

Solid understanding of software development principles, data structures, and algorithms;

Experience with RESTful APIs, databases (SQL and NoSQL), and version control tools (e.g., Git);

Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Analytical Mindset: 

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to think critically and solve complex problems.

Good Communication skills: 

Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders;

Upper-Intermediate level of English.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will:

Design, develop, and maintain backend systems focusing on smart contracts;

Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic;

Develop and deploy smart contracts on blockchain platforms;

Ensure the performance, security, and responsiveness of applications;

Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software as necessary;

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers;

Document development processes, architectures, and standard operating procedures;

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in blockchain and backend development.
