• ready to start immediately ,
• proven track record of 7+ years as a Backend Software Engineer,
• proficient in Typescript & Node.js (5+ years),
• GCP exposure including Kubernetes, Storage Buckets, Cloud Functions. Similar AWS or Azure experience works too, but you need to have at least some knowledge about GCP,
• familiarity with Kafka or other event streaming tools (NiFi, Confluent, StreamSets, Flink, Google Cloud Dataflow, AWS Glue Streaming, etc.),
• strong understanding of NoSQL and relational databases (e.g., MongoDB), as well as SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL),
• being able to quickly identify work that needs to be done,
• ability to self-prioritize delivering solutions, rather than in-depth problem analysis,
• being able to describe your work and achievements from a business point of view,
• fluent in English (min. B2).

Nice to have:

• exposure to ETL development is a big plus (Confluent, Talend, Informatica PowerCenter, SQL Integration Services, AWS Glue, Apache Spark, Fivetra,n etc.).
• experience with resolving ETL performance bottlenecks is a big plus,
• experience with large data ingestions or processing of large quantities of data,
• logging and monitoring: experience with tools like Elasticsearch, Kibana, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar logging and monitoring stacks.

Work from Poland and a work permit are  required.
