Senior Back-end Engineer in WinTech

About the role:

We are seeking a talented and driven Back-end Engineer to join our dynamic team in building a cutting-edge Online Casino Platform. This is an exciting opportunity for a developer looking to enhance their skills and make significant contributions to the back-end development of our new product. You will work closely with our Lead of Development to ensure the platform meets high-quality standards and aligns with our company's vision.

Responsibilities:

• Feature Development: Collaborate closely with frontend developers to design and implement new features.
• Backend Processes: Develop and maintain background processes, scripts, and ensure high optimization and fault tolerance of the backend systems.
• Performance & Optimization: Focus on optimizing database queries and overall backend performance.
• Reliability: Ensure the backend systems are highly resilient and scalable to handle high loads.

Requirements/must-haves:

• Extensive experience with Node.js and deep expertise in using NestJS
• Proficient in working with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL, focusing on query optimization and performance tuning
• Strong understanding of RESTful principles and API design
• Solid experience with cloud services, specifically AWS, for deploying and managing applications
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration
• Knowledge of GraphQL, Redis, and Microservices Architecture
