Senior Back-End Developer(NodeJS) in HBM

PROJECT

Our Customer is a French energy company which develops renewable energies. Committed to the fight against global warming, the company builds a sustainable energy model. The company has developed more than 400 MW of authorized wind projects in a few years and has a portfolio of 200 MW under development for its own account.

The project focuses on building a web and mobile apps for solar energy community, as a solution that will support collective self-consumption by connecting customers, suppliers, and managers. Project is developed from scratch.

We are looking for a Senior Developer highly skilled in Node.js who can take over and drive development on the solution backend.

Tech Stack: Node.js, Next.js, React Native, MongoDB, Azure

WE PROVIDE YOU WITH THE FOLLOWING EXCITING CHALLENGES

• End-to-end product development: new features, architecture design and improvements, etc.
• Develop solution back-end in Node.js, including APIs to fetch data from database (MongoDB) and integrations with 3rd-party systems
• Participate in creation of a technical vision of the solution
• Identify areas for process improvement, proposing and implementing solutions, automation of processes
• Cooperate with Product Owner and distributed development team

WE EXPECT FROM YOU

• Degree (bachelor or master) in computer science or a comparable course of study
• 6+ years of JavaScript experience
• 3+ years of Node.js experience
• Experience with TypeScript and NestJS
• API development based on REST, WebSockets, or RPC
• Experience in roles and permissions-based access control via OIDC/OAuth or similar
• Experience working with MongoDB
• Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate to stakeholders on multiple levels
• Action and quality-oriented
• English: upper-intermediate / advanced

• Experience with React, Next.js in particular
• Experience of work the distributed, cross-culture Agile environment
• Experience with AI projects
• Experience of working with Azure
