Job Description: We’re seeking a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join a fast-growing US project. Our first product — Ecosystem Intelligence — stands as a Business Intelligence platform designed for the nonprofit world. This innovative tool empowers grantmakers and fundraisers to analyze nonprofit ecosystems, anywhere in the country (who’s involved, how they’re connected, key financials + funding insights and more). As the scale increases, we want to transition from Heroku to AWS. Your job will be to help us transition, improve our CI/CD processes, and help us scale and improve the platform’s overall performance.

Specifically, you will :

Create our deployment process to AWS

Set up logging and alerts to ensure the platform’s uptime

Perform stress tests, suggest and implement improvements to our infrastructure

Work with the development team to extend and improve our CI/CD processes.

Stay up-to-date with new DevOps tools and test strategies.

Qualifications:

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Hands-on experience with AWS.
Proven expertise in CI/CD implementation.
Proficiency in Python.
Experience with PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, and Elasticsearch.
Understanding of data pipelines and ETL processes.
Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools.
Bonus: Experience in performance and/or security testing.
