Job DescriptionAs an Automation QA Engineer in our Point of Sale Solution team, you will work in a dynamic environment where innovation meets functionality. You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality testing solutions that seamlessly integrate with third-party devices, with a specific focus on Android native mobile apps. During your day-to-day, you will:Improve and maintain our existing automation frameworkDevelop, execute, and maintain automation test plans and testing scripts for Android native mobile applications using Java/KotlinDetect, report, and track software defectsCollaborate with the development team to identify and prioritize test requirementsParticipate in code reviews to promote best practices and ensure high-quality software developmentTake an active part in influencing design, UX and product using your QA background to discuss and prioritize technical requirementsStay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologiesQualifications:3+ years of experience in mobile apps automation using Java/KotlinStrong working knowledge of mobile testing tools such as Espresso, Appium, Applitools, Genymotion or similarExperience with continuous integration tools (TeamCity, Jenkins or similar)Familiarity with build tools like Gradle or MavenProven ability to build or significantly improve automation frameworksA proactive approach to problem-solvingInterpersonal skills for team collaborationKnowledge of Android mobile architecture and development experience would be an advantageAbout The TeamBe part of a collaborative team shaping the future of retail technology.
