About the Project:
We seek a highly skilled Senior Automation QA Engineer to join our team on a long-term international fintech project. The project involves working on a cutting-edge web application in a continuously evolving and improving environment. You will be working on a Windows laptop provided by the client, focusing on ensuring the quality and reliability of a heavily loaded local environment.
Key Responsibilities:
—Test Automation: Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Cypress and JavaScript to ensure the integrity of the web application.
—Legacy Test Cases: Reuse and adapt existing legacy test cases to generate and validate test data efficiently.
—Test Data Generation: Generate test flights in XML format, ensuring they meet the required standards and specifications.
—Environment Management: Maintain and troubleshoot a heavily loaded local environment, ensuring that all test environments are stable and capable of handling large data volumes.
—Process Improvement: Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, identifying and implementing best practices in an evolving environment.
—Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, DevOps, and product managers, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality software.
—DevOps Integration: Utilize Azure DevOps, Docker, and other relevant tools to streamline testing processes and support CI/CD pipelines.
—Adaptability: Be prepared to work in a dynamic, unstable environment that is progressively improving, contributing to the stabilization and enhancement of testing processes.
Required Skills and Experience:
—5+ years of experience in Automation QA, with a strong background in test automation for web applications.
—Proficiency in Cypress and JavaScript for test automation.
—Experience with DevOps tools and environments, particularly Azure DevOps and Docker.
—Strong knowledge of XML for generating and validating test flights.
—Experience working in unstable or evolving environments, with the ability to adapt and thrive under changing conditions.
—Familiarity with legacy test cases and the ability to reuse and adapt them effectively.
—Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues within a heavily loaded local environment.
—Good communication skills in both written and spoken English (B2 or higher).
—Team-oriented mindset with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement.
Nice to Have:
— Experience in the fintech industry or with financial web applications.
— Familiarity with working on client-provided hardware, specifically Windows laptops.
