konshore Ukraine LLC is a subsidiary of the German company konshore LLC and part of the konplan Group, which has been in business since 2007 in Switzerland, Germany and since 2021 in Ukraine. In addition to the nearshoring of own business processes of the konplan Group which we call as konshoring, our company provides services in the various area of engineering, namely in the area of mechanical engineering, medical equipment, power engineering, automation and electrical engineering, as well as software development and testing. Additionally, our company provides qualified specialists for implementation of business processes in the customer’s area of responsibility, thereby helping the customer to solve difficulties related to recruiting qualified specialists for their own engineering departments. Our employees have many years of experience in implementing various projects for the most demanding technological companies.

We are growing and looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join our team!

WHAT PROJECTS WILL YOU BE ENGAGED IN...

You will be involved in several projects in the medical field. One of our clients manages a clinical decision support tool that is currently used in hospitals. The tool is running in the cloud and can be integrated into clinical IT systems. It offers an efficient query for medication including calculation of correct dosages for young patients. We serve as development partner and are responsible to maintain the solution as well as implement new modules and features according to the innovation pipeline. You will join a team of approx. 5 developers. Another client is a medical device manufacturer. We serve as development partner and are responsible to develop and maintain a mobile app — which connects to the medical device via BLE. You will join a team of approx. 4 developers.

WHAT WILL YOU DEAL WITH...

• Develop and execute test plans for web and mobile applications
• Identify and document defects and bugs
• Work with developers to resolve issues and ensure high-quality releases
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts
• Conduct manual testing as needed
• Continuously improve our testing processes and tools

HOW YOU ARE GOING TO CONVINCE US...

• University degree in computer science, business informatics or similar field
• Several years of professional experience in software testing
• Experience with manual and automated testing
• Several years of professional experience in medical technology or another regulated environment
• Proven experience in designing and executing integration tests for connected solutions, ensuring seamless communication between software components and hardware.
• Several years of professional experience in software testing with strong focus on C#, .NET.
• High quality of code for automated tests
• Experience with Git and CICD pipelines
• Experience with unit testing (helpful: TDD, BDD) and corresponding tools
• Familiarity with agile software development processes (Scrum, Kanban)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Intrinsic motivation to deal with new technologies and quality requirements
• Fluent in written and spoken English

YOU SCORE ADDITIONALLY WITH...

• Knowledge of cloud-based and mobile app testing tools
• Experience with performance testing for cloud solutions
• Experience with hardware testing
• Understanding of connecting solutions and various connectivity protocols (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi) would be a big plus.
• Experience in medical technology: Product Development (IEC62304, IEC 62366, ISO 14971), ISTQB certification
• German language skills will be a great advantage
