Senior Automation Engineer in Adaptiq

About the Role: 

We are looking for an Automation Engineer  to join proteanTecs team as we spearhead the next revolution in electronics.

About the Product: 
proteanTecs has developed a cloud-based platform, which combines data created in chip-embedded Agents (IPs), with machine learning, to predict faults before they become failures. The solutions provide unprecedented insights throughout the value chain, from Chip Vendors to System Vendors and Digital Service Providers, transforming the way the reliability of electronics is achieved. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, development, and improvement of test automation framework
• Create and maintain comprehensive end-to-end automated tests, covering both backend and frontend components
• Work with the team on implementing and enhancing existing CI/CD processes
• Investigate, debug, analyze and report failures while working closely with developers
• Be an example for quality standards and automation flow

Required Competence and Skills:

• At least 5 years of experience of developing automation tests
• Java coding capabilities
• Hands on working knowledge with automation testing frameworks (such as Cypress, JUnit, TestNG)
• Working knowledge of DB testing (querying and analyzing results)
• Strong background in Quality Assurance (methodologies and standards)
• Working knowledge of API testing
• Experience with performance testing
• Working knowledge of using environments in AWS / GCP / Azure/ AliCloud
• Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) of automation testing (such as Cucumber) 
• Experience working with microservice architecture 

Nice to have:

• Experience with Python, TypeScript 
• Experience with Spring Boot
