Senior Android Engineer in Blackbird Lab

Our client is a well-known loyalty program in Canada and has been around for more than 30 years. It’s a big corporation with many mature established processes.

You will work on its mobile app that allows users to manage their accounts and bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, architect features and integrations
• Participate in technical and product discussions
• Estimate your tasks and be responsible for code reviews
• Write code, establish coding culture and standards
• Communicate with engineering teams from Canada

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial experience with Android and Kotlin
• Understanding of OOP/OOD principles and MVVM architecture
• Experience with data structures, multithreading, databases
• Upper-Intermediate English speaking level
• Fluent Ukrainian speaking level

Will be a plus

• Experience with BFF
• Experience with Flutter
• A keen sense of what makes a good user experience
