Senior Android Developer (SAAS, USA)

We are looking for Middle/Senior Android Developer (5 + years of experience ) for a project in the SAAS field (the client offers advanced analytical solutions for mobile operators). English level is Upper-Intermediate.

Basic requirements:

—5+ years of commercial Android development experience ;
—Knowledge of Java (data structures, algorithms and design patterns) ;
—Experience reactive programming (RxJava/RxAndroid) ;

- Knowledge and experience with multithreading and concurrency (Java threads, java.util.concurrent, Looper, Handler, Schedulers and Kotlin);

— Experience writing modules, integration testing and user interface;

— Skills working with Gradle ;

— English level —Upper-Intermediate and above ;
— Personal qualities: independence, organization, discipline, proactivity, customer orientation, sociability, ability to work in a team.

Will be a plus:

— Experience with IOS or React Native;

— Experience working with Open Source projects;

—Experience in creating and maintaining Android SDKs or libraries;

—Experience of cross-platform development with KMP;

- Work experience in the telecommunications industry.

Team: ~ 10 people (Software Engineer - 3, Data Engineer - 5, Manager - 1, Agile Coach / TPM - 1)

The project is a unique SAAS platform that collects, analyzes and correlates large data sets and determines the best solutions with state-of-the-art technology based on 100+ billion daily data samples collected from 10,000+ content/application providers, 800+ CDN/cloud providers and over 1 billion smartphones. Project Responsibilities:

— Development and support of Android SDK functions for measurement and data collection (design, implementation, testing, documentation, deployment and service);

— Ensuring reliability, scale and flexibility;

—Integration of analytics to ensure optimal performance of deployed code;

—Collaboration with engineers and analysts on technology selection and interaction with other core components such as shared libraries, server APIs or our distributed server network, architectural decisions.

Organization of work processes:

— Work schedule: flexible, but it is necessary to participate in all team meetings (meetings are possible in the evening 18.00-19.00);

- Time zone: USA;

— Conducting meetings: Scrum meetings (daily, briefings, demo, retro).

Stages of the interview:

— HR interview (30-40 min);

— Technical interview in the format of a coding challenge (60-90 minutes);
—An interview with a client (60 minutes). Other: Interviews in Ukrainian and English;
