We are seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer to join our team and participate in developing an innovative AI agent platform specifically designed for the healthcare industry. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a cutting-edge project that will impact how payers and providers interact with technology.

Required Qualifications:

• Proficient in Python: Capable of building and deploying web APIs/Services, CLIs, libraries, and scripts.
• AI Systems Expertise: Hands-on experience with LLM models (open-source or commercial variants).
• RAG Systems Experience: Proven experience in building production-grade RAG systems using tools like LlamaIndex, LangChain, etc.
• Agentic Patterns: Practical experience in applying agentic patterns to develop real-world copilot/assistant-type agents.
• Evaluation Frameworks: Familiarity with frameworks like DeepEval, Ragas, PromptFoo, etc.
• Distributed Systems: Demonstrated ability to architect and build distributed systems.
• API and Database Knowledge: Strong understanding of designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting APIs, NoSQL and relational databases, caching systems, and event-driven/multi-tier architectures.
• Testing Expertise: Skilled in writing effective tests for distributed systems.
• Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and capable of adapting to changing priorities.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• LLM Fine-Tuning: Experience in fine-tuning LLMs and embedding models.
• Healthcare Systems: Familiarity with healthcare systems such as claim processing systems, HRA, HIE systems.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with experienced Python/AI engineers to build the One Health Link next-generation AI Agent platform for healthcare payers and providers.
• Design and develop generalizable RAG-based experiences for the digital concierge platform service.
• Serve as the technical lead for the platform’s RAG/LLM segment.
• Create innovative platform designs incorporating agentic patterns.
• Develop product features and automated tests to ensure high platform quality during CI runs.
• Work closely with DevOps to create and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor other engineers in RAG and agentic patterns, guiding the team from prompt engineering to building multi-task, adaptive agents.
