SPD Technology is looking for a Senior Adobe Commerce / Magento Developer.

About the project

Big international company whose main business is related to gift cards and their functioning: issuing and distribution of cards, processing of payments, exchanging, refilling, etc. It also operates with many other types of digital content like eGIfts, incentive cards, promotions, rewards, etc. The company has several e-commerce sites and platforms that are helping to distribute the gift card products. Also the company has a bunch of own core services that perform all the management of gift cards in the ecosystem.

Work schedule

Flexible. Ability to work in late hours when needed (at least till ~9pm GMT).

As a qualified expert You will

• Participate in elaboration sessions with clients to understand client vision, and requirement gathering which help to design, develop and define the scope of the project. Create a functional design document (FDD).
• Perform Adobe Commerce (Magento) customizations and custom module development required as per requirement
• Develop applications in languages including PHP and Adobe Commerce (Magento2)
• Implement Adobe Commerce (Magento) custom theme integration.
• Produce detailed design documentation, unit test plans, and well-documented code artifacts.
• Ensure implementation, deployment, and backup is done following standards.
• Collaborate on the design and development of the appropriate solution with Lead and Architect.
• Produce detailed design documentation, unit test plans, and well-documented code.
• Able to develop code on the assigned platform and respective integrations in collaboration with other technical team members.
• Understand Cloud framework, dev, and deployment strategy (as most platforms are now cloud hosted).

We’re looking for you if you have

• At least 5 years of PHP software application development experience.
• Experience with Adobe Commerce (Magento) 2.
• Experience with PHP-5, PHP-7, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, Prototype, XML, Web-Services/WCF, Web API Restful services.
• PWA exposure is preferred.
• Experience with Payment gateways like CyberSource, Autherize.net, PayPal, Braintree, Heartland, Paymetric.
• Experience with integration of 3rd party solutions.
• Whole life-cycle development experience — with Agile/Scrum project approach.
• Knowledge of version control systems, web development experience.
• Work on existing applications as well as designing and develop new products and solutions.
