Senior 2D Artist (Casual,Stylized) in Gameloft

We are looking for experienced and impassioned Senior 2D Artist with a strong background in casual 2D game art. As a part of a cross-specialization team you will play a key role in exciting process of game development and creation of visually appealing and cohesive art.

Directions of professional activity: concept art, promo art

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in 2D game art, with a strong portfolio showcasing work on casual games;
• Superior eye for light, form, value, color and composition;
• Strong concept art skills;
• Good knowledge of casual and cartoonish art style;
• Experience with 3D tools (scene composing, kitbashing, lighting, rendering, basic  
• modelling)
• Creativity, ability both to provide and realize original and fresh ideas;
• Flexibility (personal & professional);
• Willingness to work as a part of team (feedbacks, collaboration, deadlines);
• Passion for video games.

Will be a plus:

• Professional education (Fine Arts / Design);
• Basic experience in UI Art;
• Knowledge of latest industry trends and workflows;
• Good understanding of mobile games market.

Responsibilities:

• Concept art of characters, buildings, decorations.
• Promo art: complex scene composing, polishing & overpaint (2D, 2D+3D)
• Creating UI elements such as icons, items, currencies, backgrounds.
• Providing mentorship and guidance to junior artists, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment
• Collaborating with 3D artists: preparing concepts for 3d modeling, giving feedback etc.
