DRB is currently seeking F security guard, strong>which will be based in Zaporizhia

This position is open only to citizens of Ukraine.

General job description:

• Provide support in the development and implementation of security risk management systems in DRB, including policies, plans and procedures in areas of operations;

• Provide administrative assistance and technical support and ensure the safe and effective implementation of programs and projects.

Main Responsibilities:

• Monitor the current developing situation in the assigned areas of operation and provide this data to appropriate personnel;

• Collect, verify, analyze and report information that affects or may affect the operational activities of the DRB;

• Establish a network of local contacts that will facilitate safer access to the operational activities of the DRB;

• Monitor personnel movements, report violations in movements and, if necessary, initiate response to emergency situations;

• Develop and support staff and driver training DRB on security risks;

• Prepare and submit Security Incident Reports (SIRs);

• Conduct security assessments on site and when identifying new office space, guest buildings, warehouses and other facilities as necessary. This may include regular safety audits, such as checking fire extinguishers, premises safety equipment, first aid kits, emergency communication equipment and physical safety equipment (MOCB), among other items;

• Conduct safety risk assessments (ORB);

• Ensure that appropriate access control is always available for all DRB objects;

• Develop projects of standard operating procedures, action plans in emergency situations, threat assessments and other documents;

• Update pre/post-travel briefings on local safety regulations, safety telephone contacts and safety briefings;

• Support the implementation of realistic policies, protocols and security procedures of the DRB;

• Facilitate the procurement and issuance of safety and protection equipment;

• Assist in the development of the DRB Security Enhancement Plans (BP) for any identified security gaps ;

• Notify relevant parties in case of emergency events and support in responding to incidents;

• Support managementsafety group manager in the update of the Safety Level System (SSR);

• Provide support to the DRB in ensuring compliance with applicable legislation, rules, standards, regulations and instructions on labor protection, industrial sanitation, fire protection and environmental protection ;

• Carry out constant monitoring of employees' compliance with labor protection requirements;

• Any other duties related to the nature of the work, as directed by the manager.

Information about you:

  • Diploma of higher education or equivalent professional qualification;
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in security and management activities, preferred experience in humanitarian organizations
  • Experience in multicultural work environments;

  • Experience in gathering information ;

  • Experience of working in an aggressive or dangerous environment;

  • Fully professional in Ukrainian and Russian, knowledge of English will be an advantage;
  • Excellent working skills with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Duration of the contract: Permanent contract after successful completion of a three-month trial period.
