As a Security Operations Engineer, your role involves configuring and monitoring security tools specific to cloud environments, conducting security assessments, and ensuring compliance with best practices for cloud security.

Responsibilities:
— Taking part in the implementation of multiple security controls for ISO27001 and several specific local country regulations.
— Responding to and mitigating security incidents, conducting root cause analysis, implementing corrective actions
— Development of the SIEM system, including source onboarding, dashboard creation, and alert notifications.
— Assist with vulnerability management tasks and the configuration of network security solutions, including firewalls, WAF, VPN, Cloudflare, and cloud-native security solutions.
— Security reviews of company services.
— Stay up to date with the latest security threats and trends to proactively mitigate potential risks.

Requirements:
— Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
— At least 2 or more years’ experience with Security monitoring (SIEM implementations, data sources onboarding, rules management, correlations, alerts, dashboards).
— Experience with AWS Cloud.
— Understanding of incident management processes and procedures.
— Understanding containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
— Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, NIST, OWASP.
— Knowledge of various cyber attack types, their tactics and techniques, detection, handling and countermeasures (DDoS, DoS, Brute force, Injection, RCE, Phishing);

— Understanding of Gitlab CI/CD and Terraform IaC.
