Role Overview:

As the Security Officer at MNSTR.TECH, you will be responsible for safeguarding the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring data security, and mitigating any potential risks. This role requires a proactive individual with a deep understanding of IT security practices, who can identify vulnerabilities and implement strategies to protect both internal systems and customer data.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure the integrity of company’s IT infrastructure.
• Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Monitor network and system activity for any signs of security breaches or anomalies.
• Oversee the installation, configuration, and management of security software and tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security protocols are integrated into all business processes.
• Respond to and mitigate any security incidents, providing thorough reports and action plans for future prevention.
• Educate and train employees on security best practices and protocols.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in IT security or a related field.
• Strong understanding of IT security principles, including data encryption, firewall management, and vulnerability assessments.
• Experience with security tools such as SIEM, firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO/IEC 27001, PCI-DSS).
• Ability to perform detailed risk assessments and security audits.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train and educate non-technical staff on security best practices.
