We do NOT accept resumes from work.uahttps://erajobs.state.gov/dos-era/ukr/vacancysearch/searchVacancies.hmsDeadline for applications: April 4, 2024Duties: Primarily performs a range of investigative work for background and criminal investigations with and under the direction of the Senior Security Investigator, to include crimes involving Americans, visa fraud and coordinating with the local law enforcement authorities regarding those investigations. Also assists Senior Investigative staff in liaison duties with local officials in conducting investigations and/or for assistance with official delegation. This position will require to drive the U.S. Government vehicle for official business.Requirements:Option 1EXPERIENCE: Three years of progressively responsible experience in investigative work with military, police, or private security organization is required. EDUCATION: University Degree in law, forensics, law enforcement, international studies/relations, police studies, military, or security field is required. OROption 2EXPERIENCE: Five years of progressively responsible experience in investigative work with military, police, or private security organization is required. EDUCATION: Two years of college studies are required.JOB KNOWLEDGE: Good working knowledge of the standard principles and techniques of investigation. Good working knowledge of documentary sources of information and familiarity with pertinent Ukrainian laws and regulations.SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to distinguish between conclusions and facts and to report facts accurately in a concise, logical, and objective manner. Must be able to deal effectively with others and to gain their cooperation. Ability to use computer applications including MS Office programs. DRIVING REQUIREMENT**: Should have a valid driving license (category B) to operate official Embassy vehicle.
