Security Engineer

Kyiv, Lisbon (Portugal), remote

We are looking for an experienced Security Engineer to help Mythical to define the future of gaming on the blockchain.
This Mythical Games role offers a Security Engineer opportunity to take your career to the next level by joining the most exciting company at the intersection of gaming, e-commerce and blockchain.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement and maintain security measures to protect the company's data and infrastructure;
• Manage accesses;
• Conduct vulnerability assessment and penetration testing;
• Investigate and respond to incidents and security breaches;
• Develop and update security policies, standards and instructions;
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure secure design and deployment of systems and applications;
• To be aware of new security threats and industry development;
• Preparation and submission of regular security status reports.

Requirements and skills:

• 3+ years of commercial work experience as a Security Engineer or in a similar position;
• Deep knowledge of security protocols and best practices;
• Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems;
• Understanding of cloud technologies (preferably GCP);
• Experience with Cloud WAF solutions;
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure;
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
• Knowledge of the latest trends and technologies in the field of security;
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or related fields;
• Upper-Intermediate English.

Will be an advantage:

• Experience with Splunk.
