In 2022, its dedicated teams work in 11 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. TGH has been operating in Ukraine since June 2016.General purpose of the position:1. Support the Head of Health and Safety in the agreed application and safety management structure to enable TGH to fulfill its responsibilities in accordance with the Safety Policy, Standard Operating Procedures and Minimum Safety Standards.2. To provide employees of the organization with high-quality information about security, conduct appropriate training and provide expert support on security issues.3. Conduct on-site security assessment visits.4. Provide timely and accurate safety advice/recommendations, guidance to Regional Coordinator, staff and visitors.5. Support the management of crisis situations and incidents at the regional office level.6. Develop and promote appropriate relationships and good communication between TGH and other stakeholders (national and local government, other humanitarian organizations, aid agencies and other security personnel).Responsibilities:Responsible for all aspects of office security, including full compliance with TGH policies, procedures and guidelines; including: security plan, emergency plans, fire safety, implementation of security risk mitigation measures and protection of living quarters for the field office.Carrying out an assessment of objects, assessing security risks and promoting the implementation of measures to solve them.Management and analysis of security incident reports.Support the Regional Coordinator in the implementation of security procedures, ensuring that all personnel are familiar with policies and procedures and informed of changes.Be available 24/7 to assist with any safety issues (including incidents and road accidents) regarding TGH projects and personnel.Ensure that all employees and visitors to the organization are familiar with security policies, briefings and security tips.Oversee the travel and movement of staff and visitors by ensuring effective tracking and online mapping systems are up-to-date and accurate.Conducting a security assessment in areas outside of TGH’s operational area to assess the feasibility of expanding the organization’s activities.Plan and coordinate security arrangements for mission trips to risk areas, including escort procedures as appropriate.Candidate requirements:Mandatory:Minimum of 2 years of security and/or security coordinator experienceHigher education in security management, business administration, law or international relations.English with Ukrainian/Russian. Ability to make oral presentations and written reports in both languages.Good physical fitness and ability to travel.Experience in planning and coordinating security measures during mission trips to risk areas, events and visits.Preferably:An advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in security management, business administration, law or international relations. A first-level university degree from a national military/police academy combined with qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of a higher university degree.A minimum of 4 years of experience in a security department and/or security coordination center for a government or non-government organization.Experience in drafting/implementing emergency plans, security plans, risk assessments, physical security measures.Experience coordinating security measures with military, police and other security forces is required in a variety of contexts.Experience of working in crisis situations and the ability to make timely decisions in difficult situations.Ability to remain calm under pressure and not lose sight of strategic priorities.Experience in planning and executing safety and security measures, security assessments, advanced security equipment and knowledge of security management issues.Proven ability to influence and negotiate with internal and external audiences in difficult and stressful circumstances.A driver’s license and the ability to operate a manual transmission are required.
