MSF is a civil society initiative that unites people who want to help other people in crisis situations. Thus, MSF is an association by choice. Everyone who works with MSF does so out of conviction and is willing to support the values ​​and principles of the organization. Primary objective: Develop, implement and monitor a safety management system within operational activities at the mission/project level in accordance with protocols , standards and procedures of MSF, in order to support the mission's risk reduction strategy. Duties: Review of the mission's risk analysis and risk reduction strategy and review of the mission's security analysis and management practices and tools in line with MSF's overall risk reduction strategy. Identifying current and potential problems in standard operating procedures for security, their actual implementation, proposing and applying them with the approval of management, making necessary improvements. Assessing the security measures applied in the areas of MSF activities, premises (e.g. clinics, guest rooms homes and offices) and workplaces in the medical facilities served, identification of additional or enhanced measures to be considered, taking into account the identified risks, to ensure the permanent presence of the team on site and continuity of operations. Identification and classification of potential areas of activity and routing by level of risk. Advise on the necessary improvements to reduce the risk and minimize the consequences of each type of incident. Assess the mission context and security monitoring capabilities, as well as the available flow of security information, suggesting improvements, as necessary. Review and regularly update the standard operating procedure for movement and communication, and re application of tools based on updated risk analysis and security map. Regular updating of evacuation plans and emergency management systems. REQUIREMENTS: Education: Diploma of higher education in a relevant field. Experience: Significant experience in managing operational activities and security at the local level (at least one year) ; Possession of security context analysis skills and the ability to develop a strategic vision; Necessary experience of working with MSF or other non-governmental organizations. Language skills - Ukrainian and English are mandatory. More detailed information will be provided during the interview. Terms: short-term contract, with the possibility of extension in case if necessary, compensations and a social package with medical insurance coverage are provided. Start date: as soon as possible; the process of selecting candidates is ongoing.
