Scriptwriter (AniMatters) in AMO

We are looking for a Scriptwriter to develop short animation scripts for the project AniMatters and will provide a steady stream of quality scripts for weekly content production. This is a role for a screenwriter who knows how to think visually, create concise, emotional stories and adapt them to the short animation format.

The main focuses of the role:

• Scriptwriting:The full cycle of work on short animations - from generating ideas and building the structure to writing the final texts and adaptation scripts for content recycling.
• Content analysis:Researching successful videos, identifying key patterns and conflicts, finding relevant topics, trends and creative approaches for further use in scripts.
• Working with edits:Editing after review, making changes and improvements within agreed deadlines.
• Creative collaboration:Participation in brainstorming with the team lead and other screenwriters, team development of ideas and storylines.
• Script readings:Discussion of texts with a team of storyboarders, making edits after readings and approval of the final version of the script for production.
• Release plan: Ensuring a stable flow of scripts for weekly production within the project AniMatters.

This role is for you if:

• You understand the laws of dramaturgy and know how to adapt short, dynamic, emotional stories to modern Internet content.
• You can writevisual, concise and structured, creating scripts that are easy to read and immediately come to life on screen.
• You have basic knowledge of script techniques and dramaturgical tools, able to analyze content, evaluate ideas and seeyou are the one who "walks in" to the audience.
• You are confident in Google Docs and Notion, you have basic script formatting skills.
• You have experience writing short sketches, reels or animations or at least you understand the specifics of such formats and want to develop in this.
• You are interested in AI tools for texts and visual content, you know how to use them to optimize script work, this will be a big plus.
