SCADA Engineer in Sphere Partners

Our Client, a company which provides oil & gas industry with efficient energy production solutions and delivery by AI-first infrastructure and ML models in the sector, is now looking for a SCADA systems engineer to join their team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Design and develop SCADA systems and communication protocols tailored to specific industrial / product requirements;
• Write communication protocols typically but not limited to FieldBus, ModBus, OPC etc;
• Integrate SCADA systems with NVidia Jetsons and our ML Code, ensuring compatibility and reliability;
• Monitor SCADA system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise, ensuring minimal downtime;
• Optimise SCADA / EDGE AI configurations to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and software developers, to integrate SCADA systems into client’s data acquisition and SCADA architecture projects;
• Document system designs, configurations, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and future maintenance.

Requirements:

• Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining software that communicates with SCADA systems in industrial environments;
• Experience with SCADA software platforms and IoT (Internet of Things) technologies;
• Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, DNP3, OPC) and networking principles;
• Experience writing software to integrate applications between Levels 2-4 within the ISA-95 framework;
• Experience in leading and delivering complex software projects, preferably in the regulated industry such as, banking, oil and gas etc;
• Bachelor’s Degree.
