We are looking for a talented Sales Development Representative to build and manage a steady flow of inbound and outbound leads through Upwork and LinkedIn.
The ideal candidate has proven B2B lead generation experience in the US, EU and Canada markets, hands-on experience with Upwork and/or LinkedIn, strong analytical skills as well as a creative, data-driven approach to building, optimizing and scaling pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
Upwork Lead Generation and Account Development
Independently prospect and identify potential clients on Upwork by pre-qualifying jobs against company and ICP criteria.
Write personalized cover letters and proposals that address client needs and clearly highlight our value proposition.
Develop, test and optimize proposal strategies to increase the number of projects received.
Conduct A/B testing of proposals, messaging and positioning.
Maintain Top Rated / 100% customer satisfaction status through timely communication, quality interaction and positive customer feedback.
Track key metrics and continuously improve outreach effectiveness.
LinkedIn and outbound prospecting
Identify and research potential customers in the US and EU markets using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, databases and other prospecting tools.
Build and launch targeted outbound campaigns through LinkedIn, email and other relevant channels.
Create, test and refine personalized messages to maximize response and engagement.
Work with CRM systems (HubSpot / Salesforce / Pipedrive or similar) to manage, track and report on leads.
Qualify leads and communicate them to the Sales team with a clear description of ICP compliance and potential of opportunities.
Important notes
Closing deals is not included in the responsibilities.
Role focused on research, lead generation and pipeline building.
No aggressive selling.
Requirements candidate
Work experience of 1 year or more (candidates without previous experience are also considered).
Strong communication skills.
English at Upper-Intermediate level or above (oral and written).
Practical experience with Upwork.
