JOB CONTENT
The Safety, Accountability and Inclusion Programs (AIP) Assistant supports the Safety Programs team, Accountability and Inclusivity in ensuring accountability mechanisms at the country level and their implementation in all programs to meet the minimum standards of accountability of MMK, especially in relation to community engagement (including information sharing, constructive participation of beneficiaries, feedback and grievance handling). This position also supports the Security, Accountability and Inclusion Programs (AIP) team in ensuring the implementation of safeguards integration mechanisms across all programs, ensuring that MMK programs are secure, accountable and inclusive, and that these programs adhere to the four core principles of safeguards integration across all programs to: 1) prioritize safety and dignity and avoid harm, 2) ensure full access, 3) ensure accountability, and 4) support participation and empowerment.
Supported by the Safety Programs Officer, Accountability and Inclusion (AIP), Assistant will be the primary person responsible for collecting and documenting feedback and complaints received through the Community Level Feedback and Response Mechanisms (CBFRM). In addition, this position will provide daily/weekly/monthly feedback and complaint reports and analyze the use of various communication channels for their supervisor.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Policies, Instructions,and Procedures
- Provide support to the Safety, Accountability and Inclusion Programs (AIP) manager and to the Security, Accountability and Inclusion Programs (AIP) officer on reporting on the fulfillment of obligations, to victims and in accordance with core humanitarian standards (CHS)
- Contribute to the creation of a positive image and general trust in the organization, in particular by application of Norms of conduct, humanitarian principles and obligations according to the 9 basic humanitarian standards (CHS).
Initiatives Safety, Accountability, and Inclusion Programs
- Provide support to the Safety, Accountability, and Inclusion Program (AIP) Manager and the Safety, Accountability, and Inclusion Program Officer and Inclusion (AIP) in developing guidelines to assist area groups in creating/improving community-level communication plans to ensure systematic information/communication with affected communities throughout the program cycle, ensuring that affected populations can make informed decisions about the assistance they receive they receive, and have the opportunity to request reports from humanitarian organizations on the fulfillment of program obligations, the expected behavior of humanitarian organizations, as well as on the observance of rights and obligations inherent in humanitarian activities.
- Provide support to the head of Security Programs , Accountability and Inclusion (AIP) and the Safety, Accountability and Inclusion Programs (AIP) staff in developing information sharing/communications plans and tools to disseminate messages to crisis-affected communities in simple, understandable terms, accessible and preferred languages and formats. li>
- Participate in regular surveys and collecting feedback from beneficiaries regarding the activities of MMK and the commitments undertaken.
- Support programs and operations aimed at implementing methods that ensure the integration of protection issues.
Project Development and Planning
- Provide support to country offices in conducting protection risk assessments for affected populations, ensuring that program teams adequately identify risks and develop mitigation measures, and maintain an updated Action Plan on Protection Issues Update.
- Support the completion of additional analysis/assessment of accountability to affected people, including but not limited to: stakeholder analysis, communication needs assessment, community consultation.
- Support conducting gender analysis and gender assessments.
Project Implementation
- Provide support to the Safety, Accountability and Inclusion Program (AIP) Manager and Safety Programs staff Accountability and Inclusion (AIP) in ensuring regular data collection throughout the project cycle (not just mid- and end-of-project to allow for adjustments).
- Provide support to the Safety, Accountability and Inclusion Program Manager ( AIP) and the Security, Accountability and Inclusion Programs (AIP) staff in ensuring tools and systems are in place to study and make decisions about the needs of vulnerable groups, including disaggregation of all data, development of integrated and specific indicators, specific research questions and targeted recommendations in reports.

Provide support to the head of Security Programs, Accountability and Inclusion (AIP) and Safety, Accountability and Inclusion Programs (AIP) staff in implementing methodologies to consult with communities about their preferences based on operational context.Contribute to soliciting and receiving beneficiary feedback on program quality MMK through special channels, as well as to raise awareness of these channels among colleagues at work and in the communities with which MMK works. Regularly receive feedback from regional offices through various channels (feedback boxes, WhatsApp, email/telephone hotline, help desks, etc.) and promptly enter data into the central database of feedback and response mechanisms at the community level (CBFRM). Assist in conducting site visits as needed to monitor data collection and ensure proper placement of bid boxes and signage at supported facilities.Provide support to the Security Programs staff , Accountability and Inclusivity (AIP) in maintaining and updating the Community-Based Feedback and Response Mechanism (CBFRM) database, tracking all feedback and complaints from receipt to closure.Assist the Security Program Officer , Accountability and Inclusion (AIP) analyze, categorize and communicate feedback to appropriate internal units and external service providers.Assist the Safety, Accountability and Inclusion Programs (AIP) staff to process all feedback/complaints and collaborate with appropriate departmental coordinators, with the aim of ensuring proper response to complaints and feedback from beneficiaries.Support the Safety, Accountability and Inclusion Programs (AIP) staff in ensuring a systematic response to complaints, clarifying MMK actions/solutions to resolve issues and reporting them to the person/community who submitted them.Provide feedback system status reports, workload and recommendations to the Safety, Accountability and Inclusion Programs (AIP) officer. ul>
Data Management Systems
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Higher education, preferably a diploma in the field of social sciences, public health, statistics or international development, with experience or knowledge in the field ofaccountability to affected population groups, actualization of protection and/or protection. An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
- 1+ years of applied experience working in a humanitarian organization and/or working with refugees/IDPs in a humanitarian setting would be an advantage.
- Demonstrated basic knowledge of accountability mechanisms.
- Demonstrated significant experience working with and managing databases.
- Excellent understanding of local work context.
- Personal and organizational skills including time management and ability to meet deadlines.
