Safeguarding medical project specialist in Fortityud YuA, Blagodiyniy fond

Fortitude UA Charitable Foundation invites professionals who are ready to contribute to the development of medical care in Ukraine to cooperate! We are looking for a Safeguarding specialist for our medical humanitarian project.

About us:
BF "Fortitude UA" provides social assistance to residents of Ukraine, especially those who live in remote, de-occupied and underprivileged regions. One of the key areas of activity is mobile medical dispensaries, which provide access to quality medical services for the population. We work in partnership with international organizations and donors, implementing innovative solutions to support the health and well-being of communities.

Main responsibilities:

• Development and implementation of policies and procedures on issues Safeguarding;

• Ensuring a safe and welcoming environment where everyone respects and values each other;

• Prevention of harm, harassment, bullying, abuse and neglect, preparedness to respond safely in case of problems;

• Conducting training for the Safeguarding team;

• Monitoring compliance with child protection principles, women and other vulnerable groups in the project;

• Review and investigation of violations of Safeguarding policies;

• Interaction with partners, donors and other stakeholders to ensure accountability;

• Preparation of regular reports on implementation of Safeguarding in the project.

Requirements for the candidate:

• Experience in the field of rights protection, social work or implementation of Safeguarding;

• Higher education (social work, law, psychology or related fields);

• Knowledge of international standards and approaches in the field Safeguarding;

• Skills in conducting trainings and working with documentation;

• Knowledge of the Ukrainian language is mandatory; English will be an advantage;

• Attention to details, the ability to work in conditions of confidentiality and multitasking;

• Readiness for business trips within Ukraine.
