Risk Manager (Cyprus) in JustMarkets Tech

Due to the team extension and product growth, we are looking for a Risk Manager to drive the successful development and delivery of product that align with the organization’s strategic goals and meet the needs of customers.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Economics, or any other related field;
• CySec Certificate Basic or Advanced will be considered an advantage;
• At least (3) years of experience as a Dealer within a forex brokerage or financial institution;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;
• Strong knowledge of trading strategies and risk management techniques;
• Proficient in using trading platforms (MT4&5 Administrator & Manager), order management systems, analytical tools and Bridge technologies;
• Understanding of hedging mechanics;
• Sound understanding of relevant regulations, including AML and KYC procedures;
• Strong decision-making abilities and the ability to work well under pressure;
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills;
• Proficient in using Excel, SQL will be considered a plus;
• Very good numerical and analytical skills;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work in shifts on a weekly basis.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage trading risks, including market, credit, and liquidity risks;
• Implement risk management strategies and adheres to risk limits set by the company;
• Conduct in-depth analysis of Forex markets, including technical and fundamental analysis, to identify trading opportunities and make informed trading decisions;
• Monitor and analyse market prices, spreads, and liquidity providers to ensure competitive pricing for clients;
• Prepare and analyse daily, weekly, and monthly trading reports, including trade volumes, profitability, and market trends;
• Provide reports to management and relevant stakeholders as required;
• Support of other departments regarding the emails from clients and deal with their requests or complaints;
• Collaborate with other team members: customer support, compliance and back-office officers, etc. to share insights, exchange information, and contribute to overall trading strategies and goals;
• Monitor the market at all times and be informed on all economic events, market holidays and arrange for any adjustments to be made to specific markets or financial instruments;
• Ensure that the company’s Trading Platform/s are operational and provide up-to-date information throughout on prices and news;
• Responsible for monitoring pricing and clients’ execution;
• Responsible for ensuring the Company’s hedged exposure is correct and accurate;
• Use all reporting tools at your disposal to take actions or make suggestions for improvements where possible;
• Perform any other tasks assigned.
