Overview

The 72nd separate mechanized brigade named after the Black Zaporozhets is a military formation of the mechanized troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is located in the city of Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region. Since 2014, the brigade has participated in the war in the east of Ukraine as part of the ATO/OS forces, in particular, it fought heavy battles on the Russian-Ukrainian border, in the Azov region and near Avdiivka in the industrial zone. At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the brigade defended Kyiv. Soldiers of the 72nd OMBr took part in the battles for Irpin, Moschun, Gostomel, Bucha. Since the summer, the brigade has been defending Ukraine in Donbas. The brigade has an honorary name in honor of the Black Zaporozhets, a military formation of the time of the Ukrainian People's Republic.

Responsibilities

• performing combat tasks as part of the unit
• providing first aid on the battlefield or in the zone of active hostilities
• evacuation of the wounded, medical examination, hygienic measures and collection of medical information
• guaranteeing safety during combat missions
• performing maintenance of medical equipment
• compliance with requirements statutes and discipline
• timely maintenance of personal weapons

Requirements

• age from 18 years
• willingness to work in zone of active hostilities
• suitability for military service in terms of health and moral and psychological qualities
• secondary, secondary special/higher education
• high level of motivation and stress resistance
• responsibility, attentiveness and ability to make quick decisions
• ability to work in a team

Conditions

• mobilization until the end of martial law or service under a contract
• the possibility of transferring active military personnel with the consent of the immediate commander after mandatory selection measures

• provision of on-the-job training
• variable schedule of combat missions

• rank of private/sergeant
• financial support from 21,000 hryvnias + an additional reward of 100,000 hryvnias, which is proportional to the days of performing combat tasks
• an additional one-time reward of 70,000 hryvnias for every full 30 days of performing tasks on the combat front line
