RF Engineer in Everstar

We are Everstar. We help you find yourself in the military and destroy Russia together with the largest and best defense companies of Ukraine.
One of these is currently working on new solutions in the domain of anti-aircraft missiles that will turn the battlefield upside down.

The R&D, so we are looking for an RF Engineer to help with the communication used in all of the company's products. The task is to "spit out Comet".
The team is already quite large, so who will be talked to)

Future responsibilities:

• Support and maintenance of the HF frontend in existing devices.
• Analysis of existing schemes and preparation of proposals for improving performance.
• Design and implementation of new ones RF frontends (LNA, filters, signal distribution) up to 6 GHz, mainly based on existing microcircuits.
• Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) modeling and verification of complex systems.
• Participation in the development of transceivers and antenna feeders devices.
• Development of HF filters and matching devices.
• Optimization and modernization of existing transceivers and antennas.
• Formation of requirements and methods of testing HF components.
• Carrying out measurements in an anechoic chamber.
• Participation in the launch and validation of the hardware part of the devices.
• Cooperation with the software development team for the integration of hardware and software parts.
• Preparation and maintenance of technical documentation.

Necessary skills and experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in the field of electronics, radio engineering or related fields.
• Experience in designing high-frequency devices (up to 6 GHz).
• Practical experience in the calculation and creation of antenna prototypes.
• Experience in solving problems of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
• Experience in the development of HF filters.
• In-depth knowledge of the principles of HF, microwave and antenna technology.
• Owning of measuring equipment (spectrum analyzers, generators signals, vector analyzers, power meters).
• Basic understanding of the principles of antenna operation and knowledge of the relevant terminology.

Will be an advantage:

• Knowledge of navigation systems (e.g., GNSS).
• Experience with PCB layouts (Altium Designer, KiCad).
• RF chain simulation programs (Keysight ADS, AWR Microwave Office).
• Experience with antenna simulation programs (CST Studio Suite, Ansys HFSS).
