Position: Reporting Specialist

For more than 10 years, the NGO "Desyate April" has been protecting the rights of IDPs and the affected population, refugees and asylum seekers, stateless persons and those at risk of statelessness side by side with international partners, state and local authorities, and the Ukrainian people. 

TASKS AND DUTIES
• To comply with the terms of the Organization's projects, internal provisions and policies;
• Develop and maintain information management systems, process relevant data;
• Form quantitative and descriptive reporting based on the results of the implementation of project activities;
• Develop tools for monitoring and evaluating the implementation of project activities ;
• Monitor and evaluate the implementation of project activities by making trips to places of assistance, communicating with beneficiaries personally and using means of communication, analyzing quantitative and qualitative indicators;
• Based on the results of monitoring and evaluation, make reports in which to provide recommendations regarding changes/improvements in the implementation of project activities;
• Evaluate and prepare procedural documents;
• Assist in the development and implementation of communication strategies, campaigns, events and other initiatives in support of project goals;
• Plan and create a content plan in communication with the PI department of the organization, generate and design content (text, photo, video, infographics, etc.), write publications; , to find the best long-term solution for the relevant population;
• Compile reports, descriptive reports with quantitative and qualitative indicators and other internal organizational documentation
• Perform other management duties and assignments as needed.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Higher education (educational qualification levels bachelor, master, specialist);
  • Proficient command of the Ukrainian language;
  • Minimum knowledge of spoken and written English will be an advantage;
  • Knowledge of office management (writing reports, letters, etc.);
  • Excellent writingverbal and verbal communication skills to effectively establish interaction and partnership with project stakeholders, to report appropriately;
  • High analytical skills and critical thinking, to objectively analyze needs and benefits and assess the situation based on the collected information;
  • Time management skills, for analyzing workload, prioritizing and maintaining concentration on specific tasks;
  • Stress resistance and emphatic ability to work with vulnerable categories of citizens;
  • Experience in humanitarian projects is desirable, but not mandatory;
  • Readiness for business trips.
