A Performance Test Engineer is required to join and play a major part in this change taking a leading role in driving the design and implementation of standards while ensuring the relevance and quality of the testing performed, both internally and by partners, into what is becoming a more and more complex landscape incorporating in-house and partner led developments alongside SaaS based applications.

- Have a strong understanding of performance test principles
- Have a deep understanding of the performance test project lifecycle and deliverables
- Considerable proven track record in performance testing
- Knowledge of multiple performance testing tools (such as LoadRunner, JMeter, Gattling etc.) along with extensive experience using the LoadRunner family of tools
- Integrating Performance Tools into a CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins, Gitlab)
- Technical Experience using APM tools (Dynatrace, Datadog, Grafana)
- Technical Experience performance testing deployments/instances on AWS, Azure, GCP & Kubernetes
- Key testing experience with SAP, PIM, Middleware (IIB), Kafka, microservice architecture (Rest & SOAP orientated), e-commerce platforms and Oracle ATG.
- Understanding of data requirements and methods of generating that data
- Experience of testing multiple e-commerce platforms and environments in the retail industry.
- Retail industry testing experience, including Digital, In-store and Supply Chain.
- Understanding of the challenges of performance testing internal, SaaS and hybrid application landscapes
- Experience of working directly with internal clients/teams
- Experience of interfacing with, and directing, partner teams and resources
- Ability to context switch between different deliverables efficiently and quickly
