Remote Monitoring specialist in EcoDigital

The mission of a Remote Monitoring Specialist is to oversee and ensure the effective operation and performance of systems, networks, or processes from a remote location. This role involves continuously monitoring data, identifying potential issues or anomalies, and providing timely interventions to prevent or resolve problems. The specialist aims to maintain optimal functionality, enhance security, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations, all while providing insights and support to improve operational efficiency and decision-making within the organization.

1. Continuous Monitoring:

   1. Monitor the performance and status of the Bitcoin mining farm 24/7 through the remote monitoring system, automation, and notifications system. 

   2. Track KPIs such as hash rates, efficiencies, and uptime.

   3. Monitor the effectiveness of automatic software modules 
      

2. Load Balancing Services:

   1. Monitor how the Bitcoin farm responds to load-balancing services.

   2. Ensure optimal distribution of computational load across available resources to maximize efficiency and performance.

   3. Identify and report any inconsistencies from monthly reports of Balancing provider

3. Billing Monitoring:

   1. Track and verify billing data to ensure accuracy

   2. Ensure operational costs to ensure align with budgeted figures.

   3. Report any discrepancies or unusual billing patterns to the relevant departments.

4. PLC Data Monitoring:

   1. Monitor PLC data to track the performance of the heat recovery systems.

   2. Specifically track return temperatures from heat recovery projects to ensure optimal performance and compliance with operational standards.

   3. Report any deviations or issues with the heat recovery system to the maintenance team for immediate resolution.

5. Incident Management:

   1. Identify and respond to incidents such as hardware failures, network issues, or performance drops.

   2. Document and escalate incidents according to the incident management protocol.

   3. Coordinate with on-site teams for resolution and follow-up.

6. Reporting:

   1. Generate regular reports on the operational status, performance metrics, and any incidents or anomalies.

   2. Provide detailed analysis and insights on the farm's performance, including load balancing efficiency, and heat recovery system effectiveness.

   3. Present findings to senior management and other relevant stakeholders.
