Remote DevOps Engineer in Navigance GmbH

We are a 5-years old wholly owned subsidiary of Clariant with a strong start-up spirit. The Navigance solution is a cloud-based service providing insights into chemical production process data for customers from all over the globe. Our products support the plant staff in making the production process as efficient as possible and to maximize the plant availability. This results in a lowered consumption of natural resources and energy, and further to a reduction of our customers' greenhouse gas emissions. We collect production process sensor data and apply machine learning and chemical expert knowledge to it. Our dashboards empower the users with specialized data exploration functionality, and our integrated communication platform connects our customers with our technical experts.

Must-have:

• solution-oriented mindset
• ability to work with minimal supervision
• experience with working in a cloud environment (AWS) in a secure manner

Nice-to-have:

• experience with Airflow or similar ETL Experience with Influxdb or any other time-series DB
• basics of how networks work in AWS
• experience with Python programming (for scripts, AWS lambdas)
• cloud security knowledge
