Remote Contract Specialist in The Arcanum Group, Inc.

Job DescriptionThe Arcanum Group is currently seeking a remote senior level Contract Specialist to provide acquisition management support services assisting with services, commodities, construction and medical sharing contracts. This position will be performing full cradle to grave support on multiple acquisitions.Duties:Providing cradle to grave contracting support utilizing the FARPerforming acquisition strategy planning, requirement reviews, PWS/SOW development, and source selection supportPreparing solicitations, handling contract file documentation, contract research, analysis and policy review, guidance, and regulations to make sound contracting recommendationsAdvising on price, cost, and/or financial related matters throughout the development of sourcing strategies and throughout the solicitation, evaluation, negotiation, and award of contractual actionsRecommending business solutions to day-to-day contractual challengesContract management and administration through an electronic contract writing systemHandling option extensions, de-obligations and close outsQualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. 4 years or more of Federal Government Contracting experience utilizing the FAR that demonstrates full cradle to grave contracting experience with general knowledge of services, commodities, or services in order to effectively take client requirements and translate them into well-documented, well-written solicitation packagesFAC-C or DAWIA Level II certification or higher is preferredMust be efficient in using all Microsoft Office applications and be experienced in using an electronic contract writing system to generate solicitations, contracts, and modificationsMust have knowledge of, and experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), ideally in procurement or contract administrationExcellent written, verbal and presentation skillsThe Arcanum Group is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
