Regulatory Reporting Programme Manager

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Regulatory Reporting Programme Manager to join our Client's team. In this role, you will support implementation of a sustainable regulatory reporting framework and ensure that IRR control standards and design requirements are correctly and consistently implemented. You will manage plans, milestones, and resources to drive the execution of IRR deliverables.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the implementation of a regulatory reporting framework in line with Regulatory Reporting & Data Policy requirements.
  • Manage plans, milestones, and delivery to ensure timely execution of IRR deliverables.
  • Collaborate with various teams (Reporting Operations, Policy, Financial Control, Group IRR Programme teams, Data Architecture Office, DBS, and Risk & Compliance) for effective coordination and communication.
  • Track progress against plans and monitor delivery against KPIs.
  • Manage risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating as needed.
  • Prepare governance materials, clearly articulating key messages.
  • Provide programme and project support across various tasks as needed.
  • Recommend improvements and promote a culture of control awareness and best practices.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong programme and project management experience.
  • Significant experience and knowledge of regulatory reporting, processes, and controls, or a strong desire to learn.
  • Understanding of the role of regulators and the context of regulatory reporting.
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CA/CIMA) or similar educational qualification preferred.
  • Ability to solve complex problems and identify improvements.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex/technical projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
