Responsibilities Ensure the overall implementation of programs in the southern regions, providing direct supervision of all project managers. Provide support to project managers in the implementation of their programs, and assist program managers, program coordinators or other unit leaders in solving problems that arise. Actively identify needs, facilitate responses to these needs or propose new options for interventions. Actively participate in the development of proposals and strategies covering the southern regions, ensure the participation of the regional team and facilitate the participation of other stakeholders in them. Ensure that all projects are implemented in accordance with the country strategy, and new projects are developed on the basis of the existing strategy. Ensure proper compliance with the standards of monitoring, evaluation, accountability and training in the regional office. Representation: Establish good relations with regional and other local authorities, make sure that all activities are well coordinated with them. Represent WHH at general OCHA coordination meetings, regional managers' meetings on the NGO platform, coordination meetings at the regional level and at all such meetings in the southern regions. Report on them as needed to the Branch Director and relevant staff. Actively participate in other regional forums and initiatives. Ensure proper reporting of all projects implemented in the southern region to clusters, as well as quality reporting to donors and head office. Personnel management :Perform day-to-day management of Southern Region Project Managers, Finance, MEAL, Logistics and other regional office staff.Participate in the recruitment of regional office staff in coordination with their direct supervisors or functional managers.Ensure a pleasant and safe work environmenthigher up in the regional office, be responsive to staff needs. Qualification requirements: At least 2 years of experience in management positions in an NGO. Experience in the Mykolaiv and Zaporizhia regions is an advantage. The level of command of the English language in oral and written form is fluent. The Ukrainian language is native or at a high level of command. University or polytechnic education in the field of political science, public administration, conflict studies, humanitarian activities or other related disciplines with specific experience in integrated project management.
