Regional coordinator of repairs in The Right to Protection, CF

GENERAL INFORMATION (The Foundation)is a charitable organization focused on providing assistance to internally displaced persons, persons in need of international protection, stateless persons, persons at increased risk of statelessness and persons without documents. The Foundation is an executive partner of the UNHCR and implements programs for the provision of direct legal assistance throughout Ukraine, promotes changes in the national legal base, bringing it into line with international standards in the field of human rights.

BF "Right to Protection" is looking for a candidate for the position ofRegional coordinator of the direction repairs in social institutions in the city of Kharkiv (Kharkiv region).

GEOGRAPHY OF COVERAGE

The regional coordinator is basedin the city of Kharkiv. The activity involves regular visits within the established regions (Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhya, Odesa), as well as possible business trips to other cities.

DUTIES AND DUTIES

• responsible for achieving project results in fixed areas on time, with the fulfillment of all the requirements and features of the project application and within the agreed budget;
• prepares planned and unplanned reports on operational activities within the framework of the project;
• presents the results of the implementation of project activities at internal and external discussions of the project, cluster coordination meetings meetings;

TASKS WITHIN THE PROJECT

In cooperation with the program manager of the direction, the team of regional engineers, the senior accountant and the project as a manager:

• develop calendar plans for the execution of work on the project;
• establish communication with the administrations of institutions and with representatives of subcontractors;
• establish a system of constant monitoring of the fact of the execution of works, maintaining communication with the implementation team, exchange of work execution statuses;
• regularly carry out visits to facilities in order to control the actual status of the works;
• to analyze any deviations from the planned calendar plan;
• to take an active part in overcoming the causes of delays in the fulfillment of project conditions;
• to document each stageimplementation of works, monitor and agree on volumes and technologies, initiate documentary support for all deviations from the plan;
• respond to incidents that may occur at the repair sites;
• other unplanned actions that should improve the quality of work, prevent negative consequences and reduce losses in the event of incidents;
• Comply with the Code of Conduct and Fund Policies.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• preferably 2 years of experience working in international donor projects related to humanitarian aid and charity;
• high self-motivation, independence, efficiency and the ability to meet deadlines - a must;
• excellent analytical skills, attention to detail;
• ability to gather information in accordance with project goals and objectives;
• preparation and writing skills reports;
• excellent communication skills;
• strategic thinking and problem solving skills;
• readiness for local and remote business trips (up to 80% of working time);
• having your own car will be an advantage.

A significant advantage will be:

• professional construction education;
• reading construction drawings;
• ability to work with construction documentation and estimates;
• understanding of the processes of construction and repair work, norms of consumption of construction materials;
• ability to evaluate the object from the point of view of the priority necessary construction work.
