We clear areas of landmines and other weapons, namely cluster bombs and ammunition, small arms stockpiles and improvised explosive devices (IEDs). HALO has about 10,000 employees in 30 countries and regions of the world. We lead efforts to protect lives and restore livelihoods for those affected by conflict. HALO has been working in Ukraine since 2016, carrying out humanitarian demining operations and activities, namely activities for surveying, demining and informing about the dangers of mines and OED. Currently, the program has more than 1,500 employees. The main operating office is located in the city of Brovary.
